Stellenanzeige :: The current product development process at LHS will be enhanced by a usability team, which will focus on the user-centered design (UCD) of our award-winning product BSCS. The team will consist of Usability Engineers and an Interaction Designer and is part of our Solution Architecture team.

Objectives
Transforming the results provided by the usability engineers into professional user interface design.
Develop products that support users’ tasks and goals efficiently and effectively.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Design and specify user interactions for LHS product applications
Communicate designs through mockups and interactive prototypes
Work with usability engineers to translate findings from user research and validate your design
Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns
Drive product designs from visual design to implementation
Stay informed of advances in interactive techniques, technologies and methods.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and productive team player who possesses:
Professional experience in Information Design or Interaction Design for Web- and/or desktop applications
The ability to deliver interaction designs in HTML and CSS
Working knowledge of software prototyping tools
Advanced understanding of and experience with user-centered interaction design principles
A strong ability to look at problems from user, designer and developer point of view
Excellent English writing and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and be proactive
Creativity and attention to detail
Qualifications
Technical background with skills in software prototyping
Web development skills and experience
Degree in Human Factors, Computer Science with Human Computer Interaction emphasis, or related field of study and substantial industry experience designing product user interfaces.
